Mandragora is a perennial herb - also known as a mandrake. This ingredient is often used in religious, spiritual and mythical rituals - often associated with magic for its medicinal and psychoactive, hallucinogenic effects. With its thick roots, it often resembles a human body. According to ancient legend, the plant will scream and kill anybody who dare harvest it without proper ear protection.
